Julie Hess and her family – husband Steve and two boys Eli and Ren – volunteer their time to generate funds for the Project ALS’s research for a cure, in honor of their friend, Jeff Madelone, who has ALS. Jeff lives in California, with wife Maegan and daughter, Grace. The fun family event, which follows Lanikai Loop, starts at 8 am. T-shirts are picked up at the race start area tents. Prizes and goodies will be announced after the race.
